Balayage, which means “to sweep” in French, was a highlighting technique created by French colorists in the 1970s. It gives movement and dimension to your hair, making it perfect for summer to give you that sun-kissed look.
As you see with the above two photos, taken the same day but in different lighting, a lot can change just with the light and how the photo is taken. This can sometimes make it hard to get that “best shot” but, it is also what makes it fun for us to play with our camera.
The left, taken inside, gives a warmer, softer vibe; whereas the right, taken outside, has a cooler slightly more serene impression.
